Fence Planning and Pizza
We're planning to put a fence up this spring for a couple of reason. First and foremost to keep D contained in the yard. Also...I don't like our neighbors (and they don't like us) and I hate having our yards just one big area.
To save on labour my dad and husband are going to build the fence. So we had my parents over for fence planing and pizza. Will and my dad golfed on Saturday and then we had lots of pizza and a game of monopoly.
Sunday morning we all went outside and measured where we want the fence and then my dad did the calculations so we would know how much lumber to buy.
And there they all. Our glorious plans! We did a little price checking online before my parents went home and I'm very excited to get this project going!
Hopefully in the next few weeks!

Pizza Night!
Had an awesome pizza night with Nona and Bapa. Skyped with Aunt Holly, Uncle Dan, Miles and Riley while Bapa was preparing the meal. Great to catch up with them. :)
Daphne looooved the pizza. It was really good but I surprised by how much she ate. Her little tummy was rock hard by the time we finished.
Margarita pizza.
And a delicious steak and caramelized onion pizza. D only ate the margarita pizza but took a good solid look at this one.
Daphne stayed with Nona and Bapa Saturday night so it was great to share a glass of wine and a slice of pizza with them after she came home.

Alberta Kiddos
Really is it only 2 and a bit weeks???
Why does it take so long for something we look forward to so much to come?
And then POOF it has come and gone.
The kiddos are such fun and so smart ....
No really I know your grand children are smart and all but mine ... well ... they are exceptionally so.... :-)
A lot and I mean a lot of Duplo.
They both love to build with the stuff.
Of course there was the compulsory Play do and colouring.
Puzzle putting together was very high on the list too.
A day trip to the Royal Tyrell Museum in Calgary.
Wow ..... If you ever get to Calgary GO!!!!!
The kids were fascinated by all the fossils and bones and asked lots of questions.
But a silly hat made things better
We stopped at a water park on the way home. It was so hot Holly and I got in too. We hiked our dresses up to our knees. when the kids saw this I guess they thought this is how we do it so they hiked their shorts up.
Adorable right?
Of course there was pizza makin with Bapa . Now Bapa really enjoys this pizza time it is difficult to get the dough just right. So he let them make "their dough" while he made THE dough... What a smart Bapa .....
