HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy New Year from All of Us here at Prosecco and Polka Dots.

We thought we would do a Tapas type of new Year's Eve...
Gotta love tasty little bites of lots of food.
Siobhan and I got busy Wednesday afternoon making
Lamb Meatballs with a yogourt , mint, lemon dipping sauce
Spanokopita
Oreo cheesecake bites

We got ourselves ready for the evening putting on our most comfiest pj's

Of course Miss D couldn't believe we were not getting dressed up for the evening.

She put on her best smile and leopard print dress.

 

 

Will had to work so it was later in the aft when he arrived.

But then the festivities began.

Siobhan and I may have had a couple of cran juice and vodkas while doing the prep  --- just sayin

 

Got Miss D off to bed and we started putting the Tapas out

We did a baked Brie with tangerine hot pepper jelly baked in Siobhan's new Brie baker courtesy of her MIL.

Served with My HB's baguette

Ay carumba .......

Then it was onto to spicy fries and scallops wrapped in bacon.

To round it all off some Oreo cheesecakes and a game of scrabble that my HB and I lost horribly. But how can you win when the other team scores almost 80 with one move.....?????
